Somersby Falls, Gosford NSW.

A three (3) shot (-2,0,+2 EV) HDR image tonemapped in Photomatix Pro. Output Tiff converted to B&W in Capture One and final post processing in PSE9.

Canon EOS 7D, Manual Exposure, Shutter Speed 1.6, Aperture Value 11.0
Spot Metering, Autoexposure Bracketing 0, ISO 100,EF-S10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 @ 22.0 mm, Hoya ND8 & B+W CPL.

A passionate photographer, I have played in this space for nearly 25 years. My first encounter was the Photography club at high school, it was more of a social encounter rather than a pursuit of photography. As life evolved and different activities attracted my attention photography was always in the background but not a priority. My passion took a turn when my first child was born and a desire to capture her growing in the best possible format was paramount. This endeavour rekindled and enlightened the right side of my brain and you will see the results of this adventure in my gallery.
