A cruise ship heading north towards Sydney Heads. The ship entered the frame just as I released the shutter and rather than getting annoyed, I left it open to capture the streaky lights againt the magnificent backdrop of a sensational sunrise.

A passionate photographer, I have played in this space for nearly 25 years. My first encounter was the Photography club at high school, it was more of a social encounter rather than a pursuit of photography. As life evolved and different activities attracted my attention photography was always in the background but not a priority.
